Schools Division of Rizal is celebrating another milestone as TUV Nord Phils., one of the world’s largest inspection, certification, and testing organization, has now officially conferred  it with ISO:9001 2015 certification—the proof of being a certified quality management system implementer.

In a formal awarding ceremony held at Ruby & Opal Hall, Crowne Plaza Galleria Manila,  Ortigas Avenue , Quezon City,  DepED Rizal management team gathered to relive the struggles and pains of the ISO journey in preparation of the Stage 1 and 2 audits which eventually led to the reason of the celebration—being an ISO certified.

Passing a standard audit for Quality Management System has improved the SDO’s quality of services hence, a special inspirational talk was given by USec “Dads” San Antonio, the former Region IV-A director.

“ I know that when schools division offices are implementing quality management system, there is no other way for us to go but create better results.” Usec “Dads” San Antonio said.

“It’s a red letter day for SDO Rizal as we celebrate the milestones of our services.” Schools Division Superintendent Marites Ibanez said in her welcome remarks.

“It is one big step for SDO Rizal as we define the brand of service we are committed to provide our stakeholders.” ASDS Lerma Flandez added.

Meanwhile, the SDO top management  and Learning Resource Management Section received Good Practice  Award from the awarding body, a commendation given during the Stage 2 audits. 

Plaques of Recognition were given to SDO Antipolo, Batangas , and Cavite. Engineer Ismael Pangilinan /Coach Bong and Elino Garcia of DepED Region 4-A CALABARZON were also awarded with plaques.

OIC Chief Education Program Supervisor Rosemarie Blando received plaque for the Curriculum and Instruction Division while Chief Education Program Supervisor  Ferdinand Pascual received the plaques for all the SGOD members.

Members of special committees who helped in achieving ISO certification were also reconized during the ceremony.

These committees provided consolidated pertinent documents that gave way to comprehensive consolidation of data.
