SBMEA-QATAME strikes again, this time with 28 selected school heads of SDO Rizal together with its ever supportive and well-motivated SBMEA Core Group in the conduct of its Mid-Year SBMEA-QATAME Conference and SBM Benchmarking on August 24, 2018 at Benjamin B. Esguerra National High School, Taytay, Rizal.

The said conference flavoured with benchmarking was also graced by the presence of Mr. Ernesto D. Lindo, Assistant Schools Division Superintendent, Mr. Ferdinand C. Pascual, SGOD Chief and PSDS’s in the different districts to show their support to the program.

Themed “Learn, Unlearn and Relearn . . .Stay Current and Get Updated”, the meeting was a showcase of learning leaders willing to recharge for new ideas and information to meet the demands of millennial technology.

During the conference, future directions of the SBMEA-QATAME Program were presented including the status of SBM level of practice highlighted by the top 10 both elementary and secondary levels.  The most interesting part is the CLC (Community Learning Center) Data gathering wherein the facilitator detailed the process of updating MEA reports. Significantly, DisLAC/SLAC online evaluation tool was launched for standardized evaluation in the Division of Rizal.

The most-awaited #benjmarking immediately followed after the midyear conference wherein the different programs and projects of Benjamin B. Esguerra NHS headed by Dr. Rebecca F. Averion were presented to the participants.

Lastly,   the closing program was highlighted by the awarding ceremonies for the schools who promptly submitted their reports that contributed to the efficient submission of Division MEA Reports for the first and second quarter to the Regional Office.

With the nuts and bolts of SBMEA-QATAME enhanced and shared to all participants, it can be concluded that this mid-year conference was an occasion well-spent and enjoyed by everyone dedicated to PBB (Para sa Bayan at sa Bata).
