This is to announce the celebration of the National Disaster Resilience Month 2018 with the theme: “KATATAGAN SA KALAMIDAD AY MAKAKAMTAN KAPAG SAPAT ANG KAALAMAN SA KAHANDAAN” from July 1 to 31, 2018, in compliance to Republic Act 10121 of 2010 also known as the Philippine Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Act which aims to increase the awareness of every Filipino especially schools on natural and man-made hazards for a better appreciation of the government’s disaster preparedness programs and Executive Order 29, s. 2017 which mandates all national government agencies to observe National Disaster Resilience Month every month of July.

 

In this regard, all schools are enjoined to conduct different activities relative to disaster risk reduction and management that will help the community and the school to have a safer and disaster resilient environment. List of suggested activities and programs are contained in the enclosures.

Accomplishment/ activity report regarding the conduct of schools shall be submitted to District Coordinator for consolidation. All district consolidated reports shall be submitted to this office via soft copy and send it to drrm.depedrizal@gmail.com on or before August 3, 2018 for submission to Regional Office.
